Apart from all of this, this state is home to healthy wildlife that has been well-preserved in a number of regions. When you hear the words “wildlife safari in Rajasthan,” images of screaming tigers from Ranthambore come to mind. In terms of wildlife safaris in this state, that is without a doubt the most appealing feature. However, there are several forest reserves here that are less well-known and worth visiting.

Some of these locations are less well-known among tourists, and it is our goal to increase their popularity. Let’s start with the list you must include in your Rajasthan Tour Packages.

Ranthambore National Park Rajasthan

Ranthambore is one of India’s most popular forest areas for viewing tigers. It was founded as the Sawai Madhopur Game Sanctuary in 1955 and became a component of Project Tiger in 1973. Ranthambore National Park was established on November 1, 1980, and it now encompasses 392 km. It is well-known for its healthy Bengal Tiger population, which may also be seen during the day. Rajasthan Tourism has been aided by the safaris here.

Alwar, Rajasthan’s Sariska Tiger Reserve

Sariska is located in the Alwar district and has an area of 866 km. It is part of the Kathiawar-Gir dry deciduous forests ecoregion as well as the Aravalli Range. This location is also notable for its natural riches, such as copper, in addition to tigers. It was once a hunting preserve of the Alwar State rulers, but after independence, it gradually evolved into a wildlife reserve in 1955. It became a component of Project Tiger in 1978, and it was designated as a national park in 1990. There was a scarcity of tigers in this reserve more than a decade ago, and poaching was blamed as the main cause.

Rajasthan’s Desert National Park is located in Jaisalmer

With a total size of 3162 km, this is one of the world’s largest national parks, located near the towns of Barmer and Jaisalmer. As the name suggests, the park provides a glimpse into the Thar Desert’s environment. The abundance of birds here is the major appeal of this location. Great Indian bustards, sand grouse, kestrels, laggar falcons, spotted eagles, tawny eagles, short-toed eagles, vultures, buzzards, falcons, harriers, and a variety of other eagle species may all be seen readily. If you are a true bird-watcher, this site is a bird-paradise, watcher’s and you will not be able to stay away for long.
