What History Says About Jaisalmer Fort

By the Bhati Rajput king Rawal Jaisal in the year 1156 was built Jaisalmer Fort.  Around 1294, the Bhati kingdom faced a siege of 8 to 9 years by Alauddin Khilji (the ruler of the Khaliji dynasty). During the reign of Rawal Lunakaran around 1551, Amir Ali (a famous Afghan leader) attacked the fort again. After which the king had to marry his daughter with Humayun’s son Akbar. So that the fort was saved from being attacked and the fort was saved safely.
