Pushkar Lake

Situated in the Aravalli ranges, This Lake is surrounded with 50+ bathing Ghats and over 500 temples around the lake. Having the historical evidence, this origin of this lake traces to the 2nd century BC. Among the 5 holy lakes, Pushkar Sarovar holds the apex importance and indeed famous as “Tirtha Raj”. Brahma Temple

Named as the “Jagat Pita Brahma Mandir”, this holiest temple is the only place in this world where the Creator Lord Brahma is being worshipped. This temple, as an integral part of Pushkar tourist destination was built in the 14th century and is made of unique red sandstones and marble. The exquisite architecture and the bird motif of this temple give this shrine a unique identity. This place is strictly reserved for the ascetics and Sadhu Sanyasis.

Pushkar Mela

This world famous Pushkar Mela is celebrated all around Pushkar on the eve of Kartik Purnima. Running for 8 days, this fair is famous for its extravagant color and the diversity of the culture surrounded at the fair ground. The major event that happens in this place is the camel shows and camel sports which attract a no. of tourists from other parts of India. The fair ground is filled with decorated Rajasthani handicrafts, art and sculpture, magic shows, snake charmers, puppet shows, classical dances and many more.

Mahadev Temple

Built on the banks of the Pushkar Lake, this Apteshwar Mahadev Temple is considered to be the famous sacred Hindu pilgrimage spot in tourist places to visit in Pushkar. Constructed within the nineteenth century with the white marbles, this temple houses the 5-faced idol of Lord Mahadev, four faces to the 4 guidelines and one face to the top symbolizes the non-secular boom.
